The Gospel from God
In this section of Paul's letter to the Galatians, we discover how Paul dealt with accusations that he was not a true apostle, and that his gospel was secondhand:
- He shows how he wasn’t prepared to accept Christ until Jesus Himself gloriously intervened in his life.
- He shows how he learnt the gospel directly from God, without the interference of the apostles.
- He shows how, when he did eventually meet with the other apostles, that they accepted his gospel and didn’t add anything to what he was doing, that Paul had “not run in vain”.
