Not in Line with the Gospel

Passage: Galatians 2:11-21
Service Type:

Bible Text: Galatians 2:11-21 | Preacher: Jeff Brown | Series: Galatians – The Letter of Freedom

As we continue our study of the book of Galatians, we see Paul explaining how he dealt with Peter and learn some basic principles for managing conflict in the process. Peter had been persuaded by the Jews to avoid the new Gentiles Christians, and was acting hypocritically as a result. His actions were compromising the gospel and Paul called him out in it. This begins Paul’s great teaching that we are justified (made right with God) by faith in Jesus, and not by any works or actor service or meeting any condition of the Law.
